Study Abroad (Spain/Portugal)

I was recently going through old files on my computer and came across my photos from a study abroad program I did a few years ago in highschool. Spain is such a beautiful place and I didn't realize how good some of the photos turned out because it was small point and shoot, but they actually look pretty good.

This was a photo I took near the beach in Portugal.

Photograms

I am currently enrolled in a black and white film photography class. I will be learning how to use a camera manually better, lighting/exposure, and how to develop film. It will be a good experience having my photos critqued and get some feedback from my teacher. One of our first assignments we did was making photograms. Priceless Moments through Luck

In my photography class the other day we learned that part of being a photographer is being spontaneous and having luck. This was a photo I took while on our family vacation (Bearlake) of my sweet dog. I feel like this is one of those photos that just jumped out in front of me while I wasn't even expecting it. My dog just happned to fall asleep on a pile of books next to my father's glasses. I put them on her face and snapped the photo quickly.
